Parade & Fireworks

The temperature was nice, in the low 80's with the sky generally overcast and cloudy. But, no rain!

Let's start with some photos of the crowd. It's always fun to people watch.

Note the toenails (hoofnails?) .

Yep, that is a real dog and it seemed to enjoy being carried around.

Main Street was packed an hour before the parade started.

At last the parade starts with Uncle Sam leading the way but I don't know about those shoes.

The parade is over and the throngs of people start jockeying for the best place to be for the fireworks display.

Let's have some fireworks after all it is the Fourth of July
